The Telegram boss, Pavel Durov, has stated that he will be leaving behind all his fortune to over 100 children that he has fathered.

According to People Magazine, the Telegram founder is estimated to be worth $17 billion (over KSh 2 trillion).

Why does Pavel Durov want his kids to inherit his money?

In an interview with a French digital newspaper, Le Point, Durov maintained that he intends to distribute the wealth with his kids.

"They are all my children and will all have the same rights! I don't want them to tear each other apart after my death," he said.

According to Durov, he was initially an official father of three when he started donating his junk to help his friend.

"The clinic where I started donating sperm 15 years ago to help a friend, told me that more than 100 babies had been conceived this way in 12 countries," he added.

The Russian tycoon also revealed that his kids would not have access to their inheritance for 30 years.

"I want them to live like normal people, to build themselves up alone, to learn to trust themselves, to be able to create, not to be dependent on a bank account," he further said.

The BBC further added that Durov indicated that he has now created a will because of the legal issues he is facing.

The tycoon, whose company is based in Dubai, was detained in Paris in 2024 and is under formal investigation by French authorities for allegedly sharing illegal content on his popular messaging service.

According to him, some women have been asking him to donate his sperm so that they can have intelligent kids like Elon.

Errol also listed the many things he has been offered, which included first-class tickets and money to get other women to have his babies.

In 2022, the billionaire's father confirmed that he had welcomed a child with his stepchild, Jana Bezuidenhout.
