What did Amad Diallo and Garnacho do in Malaysia?
In a video posted on social media, a fan is seen helping Amad Diallo pay for an electric scooter ride in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The video mentions that they also helped Alejandro Garnacho and defender Ayden Heaven as the trio stepped out to explore the city after losing to ASEAN All-Stars on Wednesday, May 28.
The locals happily helped the players before the video was cut.
What are Manchester United doing in Asia?
The Red Devils just concluded their 2024/25 season with a 15th-place finish in the Premier League and a painful defeat in the Europa League final.
The club flew out 32 players to Malaysia for two post-season friendlies. Senior players, including Bruno Fernandes, and reserve players, were included.
The trip is considered a commercial venture, with BBC Sport reporting that it is expected to generate around $10 million (approximately KSh 1.3 billion) for the club. However, some have raised concerns, given that they have just wrapped up a demanding 60-game season.
"We are doing all this so we have also to make sacrifice - and [it] is a small sacrifice. It will be six days and we make contact with our fans around the world," Man United boss Ruben Amorim said of the trip.
"They come here every weekend to see games at Old Trafford, so everybody in the club is making sacrifices."
They will face Hong Kong in their final match. The club boasts a massive fanbase in Malaysia, where they last visited in 2009, while their most recent trip to Hong Kong was in 2013.

The need for finances has become increasingly important to the club as financial regulations tighten.
What next for Man United?
The Red Devils are planning for a busy transfer window. Christian Eriksen, Victor Lindelof, and Jonny Evans will leave at the end of June.
Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Jadon Sancho, and Marcus Rashford are set to leave in the coming months. Losing these four wide players will require a substantial investment to replace them.
Matheus Cunha, Liam Delap, Viktor Gyokeres, and Victor Osimhen have been linked with the Premier League giants.
Amorim will be under close scrutiny when the season begins, following a record where he lost nearly half of his games as coach.
What Ruben Amorim told Garnacho
Earlier, TUKO.co.ke reported on the exact words Ruben Amorim used when he told Garnachoto to find a new club.
The Portuguese tactician allegedly said, "You better pray that you can find a club to sign you" in front of his teammates.
The winger appeared to criticise his coach when complaining about his playing time.
