What did Tottenham players say about Harry Maguire?
According to the Sun, Tottenham celebrated their Europa League triumph by partying until 4 a.m. on Wednesday, May 21. Their 1-0 victory over a toothless Manchester United ended a lengthy trophy drought for the club.
During the wild celebrations in the dressing room, Spurs players changed the lyrics to Gala's 1997 hit 'Freed from Desire' to taunt the England defender.
Crates of beer and bottles of champagne were delivered to the dressing room for players to enjoy their win. Champagne was sprayed as captain Son Heung-min re-enacted lifting the trophy.
Midfielder Yves Bissouma went live on social media, showing the festivities, which included pizza, while they listened to Natasha Bedingfield's 'Unwritten'.
During the celebrations, they trolled Harry Maguire using expletives. The Man United star clashed with Cristian Romero throughout the contest and even had a heated exchange after the final whistle.
Before the final, the former Leicester defender said winning it wouldn't 'save' their season.
"It wouldn't save the season because I think it's been disappointing. There's been too many games that we've lost, far too inconsistent. It's been a difficult season," he said via the Mirror.
"It's been a disappointing season but of course football is about memories, it's about creating memories, it's about winning trophies and we have a great opportunity to win a trophy. For our fans, it's what they deserve, so that's the most important thing."

What next for Maguire and Man United?
Maguire and Man United have a lot to ponder in the coming months. The final was the only European game they lost this season, but things have been dismal in the league.
Aston Villa could hand them a 19th defeat in their final game this season, and they could finish 17th in the Premier League.
Moreover, the defender could be on his way out of the club along with other players if the club makes wholesale changes. His deal expires in 2026.
They will be under pressure to produce better performances next season. His coach, Ruben Amorim, will also be under a microscope.
Man United to hold barbecue
Earlier, TUKO.co.ke reported that Man United will proceed with the team barbecue despite failing to win the Europa League.
The three-time Champions League winners had planned a barbecue for the players, staff, and their families before the season concluded.
They had cancelled a ceremony for the Player of the Year awards and a bus parade if they won the Europa League.
