In at least over 48 hours, Kindiki led two separate economic empowerment events in Machakos and Nyamira counties, mobilising a combined KSh20 million.
The events, held in Mwala and West Mugirango constituencies, are part of a broader national campaign the government is branding as grassroots economic revitalisation.
But behind the cheer and song lies a steadily rising conversation over the origins, purpose, and sustainability of the cash cascade.
In Mwala, Machakos county, Kindiki turned up to a hero's welcome, launching a KSh10 million fundraiser with his now signature style, cash in hand and rhetoric to match.
"I’ve brought my contribution of KSh 2 million, and the President’s support adds another KSh 3 million. Sudi has brought KSh 2 million as well. Am I not the real deal? Am I not on fire? How many of you want us to keep going like this?" Kindiki proclaimed amid cheers from the residents.
Shortly after wrapping up the Machakos event, Kindiki boarded a chopper to Western Kenya, his stop, Nyamira county.
Here, residents of West Mugirango awaited with eagerness as the second in command kicked off another empowerment blitz.
Not one to disappoint, once again, the money flowed with Kindiki donating and delivering President William Ruto's contribution.
"I’ve brought my contribution of KSh 2 million, plus the President’s KSh 3 million. I’ll get this job done, I’ll push it fast, I’ll push it hard. I’ll move it with the speed of a miraa delivery car," he said.
How does Kindiki's entourage contribute
The events are part of a trend that has caught national attention, drawing criticism from a section of the opposition.
Kindiki and his delegation of senior political figures have been disbursing millions weekly in similar events.

A report by Citizen TV revealed that the team contributes close to KSh100 million on a weekly basis across the country, with a pattern that mimics official hierarchy.
At almost every function, Ruto is cited as contributing KSh 3 million, while Kindiki chips in KSh 2 million.
Other senior figures, such as Speakers and majority leaders of parliament, add at least KSh 1 million per event, MPs give KSh100,000, and MCAs are expected to donate no less than KSh20,000.
This formula has raised eyebrows, especially when compared to the officials' declared monthly salaries as set by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission.
Why did Kindiki lock media out of event
Elsewhere, in Karuri, Kiambaa, Kindiki represented Ruto at a women and youth empowerment event.
During the ceremony, he instructed journalists to switch off their cameras just before announcing a KSh 3 million donation from the president.
Kindiki highlighted the government’s plans to build 400 modern markets, including 25 in Kiambu, equipped with facilities like cold storage, lactation rooms, and ICT hubs.
