Family of Couple Found Dead in Bedroom Shares Cause of Their Deaths, Autopsy Results

  • Anthony Hillary Ngamboli and his wife, Anna Amiri Jum, were killed in cold blood, and their bodies were discovered by their househelp the following day

Tanzania: It has emerged that the couple found dead in their bedroom by their househelp were killed by a blunt object.

How did family learn of Anthony and Amiri's deaths?

Anthony Hillary Ngamboli and his wife, Anna Amiri, bid their children goodnight, then went to bed like every other day, but never woke up.

Mariam Saidi, the family's househelp, discovered the bodies of the two early in the morning and raised the alarm.

"My younger brother and his wife were hit with a heavy objects; my brother's brain was mixed up. He was also stabbed with a knife," Anthony's brother said.

The deaths stunned the community, family, and friends, who turned up in large numbers to see the couple off as they were taken to Moshi for burial.

What will happen to Anthony and Amiri's children?

The family will have a meeting at Mwanga, Kilimanjaro, for burial preparations, and they will also discuss the welfare of the kids.

"The oldest one was very hurt when he was arrested because of the deaths. He has been released and absolved of any wrong doing," said their uncle.

The case is still under investigation.

Couple found dead in their house

Another couple, Geoffrey Anael Mota and his wife, Blandina Felix Ngowi, were discovered dead at home in Msaranga ward, Moshi, in the Kilimanjaro region.

The couple had not left the house the whole day before being found dead, leaving their loved ones in pain.

According to Simon Maigwa of the Kilimanjaro Regional Police Force, Anael had visible injuries on his neck.
