Justin Namiso, a close family friend, told TUKO.co.ke that Elijah, a teacher at Namasanda Junior Secondary School, went missing on May 22.

She shared that the young man had big plans for his future and had already started building a house.

“On that fateful day, he didn’t show up at school. His colleagues assumed he was at home overseeing his project, while his family thought he was in school since it was a Thursday,” said Namiso.

Namiso revealed that Elijah was very hardworking and had just bought a motorcycle on May 12.

“Right now, he’s nowhere to be seen, and the family also cannot locate his motorbike. His phone has been switched off,” she added.

Alarmed by his disappearance, the family had his phone location traced, and it indicated that his last known location was Webuye.

The devastated family filed a missing person’s report at Kimilili Police Station on May 30, but all efforts to trace him have so far been unsuccessful.

“The family is extremely worried because he has never gone away without informing anyone,” said Namiso.

She described Elijah as a calm, collected, and hardworking young man.

The family is now calling on anyone who may have seen Elijah or has information on his whereabouts to report to the nearest police station.
