Kakamega Family Seeks Woman Who Went Missing on Way to Hospital: "She Was Nosebleeding"

Kakamega, Kenya: A family in Kakamega county is in agony as their mum, wife, and daughter went missing and it is now eight days since they last set eyes on her.

Why did Mideche leave home?

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, her husband, Earnest Itenya, who works at Emulembo Primary School, said that his wife woke up early in the morning on June 8, complaining that she was feeling unwell.

She prepared herself and called for a motorbike to take her to the hospital.

"She was nosebleeding badly and said she wanted to know what was wrong," said Earnest.
"When the boda boda came, the rider was wearing a helmet so we didn't see his face. She was taken to the hospital, but that is the last time we saw her," said the distraught husband.

Is Mideche's phone on?

Mideche is a teacher at Shinyikha Primary School, and her family is at a loss for what to do after searching for her everywhere.

Family, friends, and colleagues have tried reaching her on the phone, but sadly she was not reachable. as her phone had been switched off.

"Her phone was switched off on the same day that she went missing and we have not been able to get hold of her," said her husband.

Missing Siaya teacher found in hospital

In another story, the family of Gideon Sifuna Karani, desperately shared that they were looking for their kin who had been missing for several days.

According to his kin, they were relieved after he was found in a hospital.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, his brother, identified as Austin Wanyonyi, said that Sifuna left his home only to run some errands, only to be hit by a vehicle.

Before learning of the good news that he had been found, the family was only guessing about what had happened to the mathematics and physics teacher who works at Ulwani Mixed Secondary School.

He had lost his phone during the accident as well.
