The family of five met their fate in the early hours of Friday, May 23, when a ferocious fire swept through their neighbourhood.

The family originally hailed from Esirulo village in Emuhaya constituency, Vihiga county, and had relocated to Nairobi in search of a better life.
The fire not only claimed lives but also destroyed property, leaving many residents homeless and in urgent need.
Friends and family turned out in large numbers to pay their final respects to the young family.

Sorrow and pain were etched on their faces as they mourned the untimely loss of their loved ones.
The remains were placed in separate white coffins and transported to the burial site a day before the ceremony.
On the burial day, Saturday, June 14, the coffins were draped in white cloths, each bearing a portrait of the deceased family member.
The number of mourners was so large that some were forced to sit on the ground, all showing support for the grieving family.

Ghanaian man buries wife, three kids
In another story, grief engulfed a village in Ashanti, Kumasi, Ghana, where residents buried a woman and her three children.
Agyemang, the husband of the deceased woman and father of the children, was inconsolable as he laid his loved ones to rest.
He wept bitterly during the funeral, which was captured in a heart-wrenching TikTok video.
Mourners dressed in black and red filled the funeral grounds to pay their respects.
They walked alongside Agyemang, supporting him as he struggled with the devastating loss.
As he approached the caskets of his family, the grieving man lowered his head and broke down in tears.
