What happened to Benard and James?
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Anne's brother, identified as Joseph Wanjiku, shared that it is very cold in Naivasha at the moment and there is a need to keep warm for the young ones.
"Initially, Benard and little James Thuo had accompanied their mother to a house of a neighbour who had lost a family member but when it became too cold, Anne returned them to be warm in the house," he said.
"She had to go and complete the chores that she had been given, then go home to feed the children. They were just playing well when she left them, but 20 minutes later, she was called that their house was a fire at her house and neighbours accompanied her to put it out," he explained.

How can Kenyans help James?
According to Joseph, Benard tried to stagger out once the neighbours managed to put off the fire and managed to reach the door, then fainted.
On the other hand, his brother also made it out and walked a few meters but he had inhaled a lot of smoke and was rushed to the hospital.
"We had to transfer him from Naivasha Hospital to PGH Nakuru, where he got an ICU bed but sadly he succumbed on May 24," said the devastated uncle.
"Imagine she has been left without kids. Friends let's help this mother as she requires support to clear the KSh 150,000 medical bill , transfer of the body to Naivasha Mortuary and accord decent funerals to the young souls," he said.
