The home CCTV footage captured the moment that a two-year-old boy yanked a baby from the couch after his mum went to the kitchen just for a few seconds to wash her hands.
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Annabel disclosed that her son decided to play with a friend's baby who had been left in her care on that day.
When she returned from the kitchen, she found the baby off the couch playing with her toddler, who seemed excited.

However, she wondered how the baby made it from the couch, yet she could not walk, and that is when she decided to review the now-viral home CCTV clip.
"I didn't believe it and had to review from my CCTV because, being that he is two year old, I hadn't thought he'd do such a thing," she said.

In the footage, Annabel's son is seen pulling the baby from the couch by her feet. It appears as if the baby will fall, going by how she's been pulled to the edge of the seat.
However, once the edge of the couch, the little boy carefully positions the baby's feet on the floor before they start their playdate.
The toddler even lifts the baby up and down as they play.
It is at this point that Annabel is spotted returning to the living room, finding the two kids having a great time playing.
"I'm the mum to one handsome boy in the video, the one getting the baby out of the couch. The baby being pulled is a friend's who had pulled over and requested I look after her, and I couldn't imagine my son would pull out such a tricky plan," she said
"My heart stopped when I watched. I imagined if he wasn't more careful, what would have happened to the baby. But God's way of watching over children is my confidence," she added.
The Nairobi mum said that at just two years old, her son is curious, affectionate and adorable, and that explains why he wanted to play with the baby.
"He is also a lover of the skies at his tender age. We already call him Toto Rubani," she added.

While many were charmed by the toddler’s gentleness and initiative, child safety experts emphasise the risks involved when young children play unsupervised, especially with babies who are not yet mobile.
Speaking exclusively to TUKO.co.ke, Faith Muriithi, a child development specialist, explained the dangers of such interactions and the importance of constant supervision.
“Toddlers mean well, but they don’t have the strength, coordination or judgment to handle infants safely. Even a well-intended move can end in injury, so parents should always supervise such moments closely,” she told TUKO.co.ke.
Netizens react to the clip
Many who watched the clip admitted to clutching their seats as they thought the baby would fall, but they sighed a relief when she made it safely.
Annabel admitted to sharing the same feeling, adding that the reactions from Kenyans amused her.

Toddler goes viral for declining lollipop
In other news, another toddler went viral on social media after he vehemently refused to pick a lollipop from his dad.
In the funny video, the dad tried to offer the little boy a lollipop, but the boy said he was under strict instructions from his mum not to eat such candies.
"Mama said no," he repeatedly told his dad, adding that he would choke if he ate it.
He walked away from his dad after he noted that he was not taking no for an answer.
