He took to his social media accounts to state that he has been forced to flee Nairobi after receiving so much backlash.

Swaleh also took the opportunity to apologise to Kenyans, stating that he is just a content creator with no ill motives.

"Wakenya mmenikimbiza na matusi. I accept that I made a mistake. I am a content creator, just like the others. Some are taking advantage of the words I say on social media. I, Swaleh, am pleading for forgiveness. Look at where I am," Swaleh said.

He stated that he had to travel to Homa Bay for his safety. Swaleh added that he was tired and wanted to take a nap at the Raila Odinga Stadium before heading to his home.

"I want to get inside this stadium. I want to take to sleep inside the Raila Odinga Stadium," Swaleh said.

Swaleh added that he doesn't want to have enmity with Gen Zs. He even got on his knees and asked the country's youth to forgive him for what he did.

"If I did wrong to any of you. I am pleading for your forgiveness. I am down on my knees, and I have even removed my hat. Kindly find a place in your hearts to forgive me," he added.

A section of Kenyans had linked Swaleh to a group of suspected goons that infiltrated the anti-Lagat protests and caused chaos.
