How did Busis woman become 'Mary, mother of Jesus'?

Nafula claimed she received the calling from the Holy Spirit and heard the voice of Jesus.

“I saw a light come from the sky and fall to the earth. Then a voice called out, saying it was Jesus Christ, sent by His Father to look for His mother, Mary. I told Him I didn’t know who Mary was, and He said I am the one,” she explained.

The middle-aged woman claimed the voice told her that Mary was hidden inside her and that it was now time to reveal to the world that she is the mother of Jesus.

She further stated that she spent two months on a hill, communicating with the moon, which she said descended and showed her all she needed to know.

“In the morning, it would tell me to go and inform people that Jesus of Nazareth is passing,” she shared.

The self-proclaimed Mary, mother of Jesus, said that at first, many people believed she was crazy or bewitched when she revealed her new identity.

Nafula’s husband, John Wekulo, said the news came as a shock to him until he also received a revelation that he is Joseph.

“God works in mysterious ways. I don't know how people found out that prayers happen in our home people just come to be prayed for,” he said.

Her sister-in-law, Everline Ouma, noted that Nafula is slowly gaining fame and that many people, including family members, believe in the miracles she performs.

“They can now see she has the ability to perform miracles. Those who were barren now have babies because of her,” said Everline.

Nafula’s declaration has turned her home into a local attraction, with visitors and residents from nearby villages flocking to see her, while some visit seeking healing.
