The TikToker had in 2024 found herself in trouble after she publicly asked for financial help, which many claimed was to renew her visa in Dubai.
Why Becky is cutting off her family
However, things took a drastic turn after the woman who gave her the money accused her of defaulting on the debt.
In Becky's new post, she blamed her family for not supporting her and revealed that she will no longer be helping them.
She wrote a lengthy rant asking them to start taking care of themselves now that they are old enough.
Part of her post read:
"I’m cutting y’all off because y’all are dragging me backward and draining my mental health. I want you guys to assume I was never born or maybe I died and start taking care of yourselves without me. For years I have not achieved anything in my life because of you people and the fact that you guys don’t see it is making me sad. Nobody has been taking care of me or knows how my life is moving, I have done a lot of crazy things in my life because of you guys, I’m hurt that you guys are not even trying to help me help y’all. Nobody is even worried about me, I’m the only one who is worried about y’all."
Becky added that she has been undergoing therapy, and now that she is okay, she does not want anyone messing with her mental state.
"I might end up deactivating my accounts so nobody will hear from me. I’m almost 30 yet I don’t see any improvement in my life, just imagine if I could have had a kid. To the internet people if u see any of my family member suffering, just know I cut them off. From now on I don’t have a family. I’m done," she said.

Should one take family's responsibility
Counselling psychologist Peter Kamau, in an interview with TUKO.co.ke noted the importance of having boundaries with families.
"Taking responsibility for your family is noble, but not at the expense of your mental health, financial stability, or personal growth. Sometimes, creating healthy distance or setting boundaries is necessary for your well-being and long-term success," he said.
Here are some of the reactions from social media users:
@Lillian Andolo said:
"Family can be toxic at times, I have been there. Cut off anything and anybody that interferes with your mental health."
@Edu Stein said:
"The earlier you'll realise you come first in this life the better for you. I come first, the rest follows. In everything and anything I do I'll always come first. I help yes, but only if it's necessary and important."
@Rachna Ligono said:
"Family can be your number one biggest downfall sometimes."
Why Becky dates women
The TikToker once revealed that she only dates women because of her experiences dating men who hurt her on multiple occasions.
She added that the first time she fell in love with a woman, she felt safe until she cheated on her with another woman.
Becky has been romantically linked to US-based Kenyan TikToker Phoebe Arich Ndege.
