Remember when the father of five shared a worrying post on social media about his death a while back.

He left his fans worried, only to reappear later at Deputy President Kithure Kindiki's residence.

Days later, the musician was set to travel to the UK for his tour with his close friend Joyce Wa Mamaa.

Did Samidoh plan to extend his stay in US?

Kenyans later thought that the father of three would make his way back home, but he travelled to the US.

He shared photos with his young daughter and later son to affirm that he was with his family.

An arrest warrant was issued with NPS claiming that he had deserted his duties in the police force.

Kenyans expected a reaction from the police officer, but he instead, he shared tour dates.

The tour dates run until late July, indicating that he won't be returning to Kenya anytime soon.

He has pulled off his wife Edday Nderitu's classic move. People thought she was going to the US for a vacation, only for her to reveal later on that she wouldn't be coming back.

Samidoh wrote:

"No matter how high an eagle flies up the sky, it will come down to look for food-wise men proverb. USA shows schedule 21st
June - Huston Texas
28th June - Austin Texas
4th July - Lowell Massachusetts
5th July -Dallas Texas

12 July - seattle Washington (Ngemi cia Ruray)._"

Kenyans urged him to stay in the US longer until his safety is guaranteed.

Kenyans react to Samidoh's stay in the US

Here is what they had to say:

Githaiga Wa Chaai

"Hii kijana hairudi ifii karibuni... Team Nothing but Prayers.. nikama maombi imejibiwaa."

Nelson Wafula:

"Please make sure you vibe that Wantam song na video zikuješŸ˜‚."

Agnes Wahito:

"Remember your boss doesn't know where you are. It's only in Kenya where everyone knows your whereabouts apart from your boss."

James Kiunga Muriungi

In other words you are telling them 'catch me if you can.'

Mathew Njeru:

"So you are not coming any time soon. They may be forced to involve interpol and have extradited."

El Saril:

"You will find that "the person" giving you job is paying you with a plate of food half packed, and yet they claim that you are not orderly working."

How much will Samidoh make from the US tour?

Celebrity publicist and manager DJ Slahver told TUKO.co.ke that every artiste has their rate card and is paid according to their popularity. He opined that some of the artistes, especially those who only sing vernacular music, don't make much outside the country.

"Unless the artiste is big like Bien or Diamond, then they don't earn that much. Most promoters are comfortable paying KSh 500,000 per show. During the tour, one performs two days a week, Saturday and Sunday, then flies to another state," he explained.

Slahver shared that Samidoh could be making KSh 1 million per week for two shows,

He said promoters must cater for everything when inviting an artiste abroad, and most prefer working with those who've already secured US visas because it is not easy to get one.

"They must get a licence showing that the artiste would be performing in the country, get health insurance, pay for accommodation and flight tickets," he shared.

The publicist also noted that some promoters don't get licences for the artistes, hence why some get deported just after landing in the US.

Did Samidoh request leave?

In other news, after NPS accused him of deserting his post, his leave document leaked.

The leaked document revealed that his leave request had been granted, and he stated that he would travel to the US.

The musician was to cater to his expenses.

Kenyans questioned the reason behind NPS accusing the musician of being a deserter.

Caren Nyota, HoD Entertainment, added details on how much Samidoh will make from the US tour.
