Despite the passing of over a decade, she has been forced to keep their bodies in a mortuary because she has not been able to secure a burial plot.

The emotional toll and trauma have weighed heavily on her as she longs to give her parents a dignified farewell.

Moved by Susan’s plight, Eric launched a fundraiser through his popular online community, Sisi Kwa Sisi, urging fans and well-wishers to contribute towards helping Susan lay her parents to rest.

Eric Omondi aims to raise KSh 1 million for Wairimu

In a recent update, Eric announced that the campaign had raised KSh 450,000 so far and encouraged continued donations to reach the target of one million shillings.

He accompanied the post with an emotional video showing them at the Engineer Funeral Home.

Wairimu appeared dejected but the philanthropic comedian offered her a shoulder to lean on.

“Hey guys, we are at Ksh 450,000… Let’s get her to a million so that we pay mortuary bills, buy her land and bury her parents. This coffin has been here since 2019. Let’s give our sister closure; she has mourned for 13 years. Send whatever you can to her number 0705074219 (NAME: SUSAN MUTAHI). God bless,” he wrote.

The fundraiser aims to cover all necessary expenses, including the mortuary bills, purchasing a burial plot, and conducting a proper burial service for Susan’s late parents.

As expected, many fans were moved by the story and they trooped to the comment section to comfort Wairim and praised the comedian for his kindness.

How much did Eric raise for Homa Bay granny?

In another touching story, Eric came to the aid of Consolata Aoko’s grandchildren, who were struggling with school fees after she offered six chickens as partial payment.
