"Hatuwachi Gachagua wetu tukienda, tukienda kwa baba. Rigathi wa Gachagua, huyo ni mwanaume. Even when others resent him and hate him, he is still a man. Where men are, is where we are," he sang, triggering cheers from the crowd.

His praise sparked reactions online, especially coming just days after he was spotted at Deputy President Kithure Kindiki’s residence alongside other musicians.

The visit attracted backlash from a section of fans, who questioned his political leanings.

At the Kindiki gathering, Samidoh introduced himself with his trademark wit and referring to himself as a gospel musician.

He noted that he also serves as a police officer and jokingly said he does not talk much when his boss is around.

Wrapping up his remarks, he thanked the hosts for inviting them before adding a playful 'Tutam,” a light-hearted twist on the current regime serving two terms in government

The singer’s apparent shift has left fans speculating over where his political loyalties lie, with some wondering whether his recent praise of Gachagua was a subtle endorsement, or just another classic Samidoh moment.

How did Samidoh react to Gachagua's impeachment?

Earlier, the musician expressed disappointment after Gachagua’s impeachment in 2024, quoting Martin Luther King on a man’s true measure.

Surprisingly, Samidoh was later seen shaking hands with the current deputy president.

In politics, however, there are no permanent enemies or friends, only permanent interests.
