Why was Matubia proud of her daughter?
Recently, the excited mother of two took to social media to share her pride after Zari was crowned Miss Humanity 2025 at the prestigious Woodcreek School, where she is currently enrolled.
Matubia posted a heartwarming photo of Zari grinning from ear to ear, dressed in what appeared to be a cultural ensemble complete with traditional jewellery, a shoulder ribbon reading “Miss Humanity Woodcreek 2024/25”, and a crown to top it all off.
“I gave birth to a superstar! Am blessed. Say hey to Miss Humanity 2025! My Wanjiku, my star,” Matubia proudly wrote in her caption.
The joy did not stop there. The celebrated thespian also shared several adorable videos showing how the family celebrated Zari’s win.
In one of the clips, Matubia could be seen dancing alongside Zari and her younger sister Zendaya, both girls wearing tiaras as their mum showered them with love and praises.
“God, I’m grateful. Validation enough! My children,” she added emotionally, clearly overwhelmed by pride and gratitude.

How did Jackie Matubia mark her daughter’s birthday?
The renowned actress celebrated her youngest, Zendaya, who turned three, by sharing heartfelt photos from when she was a baby.
