This cadre is in charge of gathering, processing, evaluating, and sharing geoscientific and geospatial data.
Requirement:
- A bachelor's degree in geology, geomatics, geospatial engineering or an equivalent course from a recognised institution.
2. Supply chain officer
The supply chain intern is in charge of helping the company accomplish its strategic objectives by putting in place effective and efficient methods for the purchase of products and the disposal of assets.
Requirement:

3. Security officer
The security intern will conduct ad-hoc inspections on all KenGen installations.
Requirement:

4. Property officer
The jobholder is in charge of carrying out timely conveyance in connection with land acquisition and purchase.
Along with property management, he or she is also in charge of drafting and overseeing leases.
Requirement:
- A Bachelor of Arts degree (land economics) or real estate management.
5. Plant operator
He/she will be tasked with operating heavy machinery to dig, lift and move materials at work sites such as an excavator or giant cranes.
Requirement:
- Craft certificate in plant operation (mechanical handling equipment).

6. Mechanical technician
The mechanical technician is responsible for the operations and maintenance of power plants and their auxiliaries.
Requirement:
- Diploma in mechanical engineering.
7. Mechanical engineer
The jobholder will operate, repair and maintain power plants and workshop equipment.
Requirement:
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical or mechatronics engineering.
8. Legal officer
He/she will prepare and file legal documents at court registries and represent the company in courts.
Requirement:
- A bachelor's degree in law.
9. Knowledge officer
The knowledge officer manages all the information, knowledge management tools and systems in the company.
Requirement:
- A bachelor's degree in library and information science.
10. ICT officer
He/she will provide and maintain the ICT network infrastructure.
